After you watch the video and read the study notes below, answer these questions here on the Fellowship Project Blog Posting link on this page:
o Discuss what God has placed in your heart to do? What are the things you have yet to consider?
o How will you trust God with what He has placed in your heart? How do we know it was Him who said it?

Trusting and Obeying
"Your Trust in God has a voice. It’s expressed in obedience."
~Kevin Zadai
This love means living in obedience to whatever God commands us. For to walk in love toward one another is the unifying commandment we've heard from the beginning.
—2 John 1:6 TPT

DISCUSSION:
We can trust God, and we can trust His voice. When we hear from Him, we have to be sure to obey and do what He says. Many of us are not sure if they're hearing God's voice correctly. We can always go to His Word, and that creates a framework for hearing Him. Hearing God's voice is not as easy as one would think. It's tough because we're in a broken world. We have a lot going on around us, and the voices among us could be contrary and block out what God is saying. You're going to have to read the Bible and meditate on the Word of God. Ignore the chatter and voices that might be louder than God's voice in your life. Eventually, you will experience an overthrow or an overturn, where you'll be able to discern God's voice.
o Do you find it difficult to hear from the Lord? What are some ways you can hear from Him? How do you know that it’s God who is speaking?
We walk in love, as God has commanded us to do. Walking in love with one another is the unifying commandment. It's what we have heard and have known from the beginning. We live in obedience to what God has commanded us to do. We walk in love with each other because Jesus said it. People will know that they're of God by their love for one another. It's a manifestation, not just a feeling. When Jesus was on the earth, the people on the outside knew who the Christians were by their love. You are known by your love by giving God full access to your life and letting Him work in you to cultivate that love within.
THE VOICE OF GOD
When I was with Jesus, I could see that the voice of God was inside of me.
It was deep down in my belly and my inner man. It wasn't in my head.
• Often, people think they hear from God, but it might have just been their conscience. It could be a God-inspired thought, but it's best to stay with the brick and mortar of Christianity, which is the Word of God.
Trust that His Word is true and meditate on it.
• God would speak to me through scriptures. He would give me a verse and tell me the chapter in the Bible, and I would look it up, and sure enough, it was precisely what I was praying. It confirmed that I'm glad God knows the Bible, too!
• When we hear from God, we show Him how much we love and trust Him by doing what He says. It’s obedience. We have an action that corresponds to our faith. When we hear something from God, we respond with an action.
GOD PULLS IT OFF PERFECTLY
Psalm 37:5 TPT: Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way you'll find he pulled it off perfectly!
Give God the right! The Psalmist is saying, give Him access to direct your life and trust Him. You'll find He pulled it off perfectly. You have to be moving for Him to lead your life. The idea is that you can't expect to get to your destination if you don't start. There has to be some sort of movement.
There are directional corrections that need to happen on our journey to position us.
o Do you find that you are leading your life, or do you let God lead? In what ways can you give God full access to your life to lead you?
We're all in a walk with God. That's why it's called a walk. It's not a sleep with God or a nap with God. It's not laying in a lounge chair and making God pick you up and take you to where you need to go. Yet, we seem to think that God is like that. The Lord reminded me that He was bringing correction to the body of Christ in this area. He said that Christians have become superstitious, and they have false concepts and ideas about who God is and how He does things. He said people would expect something to happen, but they put no effort into it. For example, you can't expect to get a degree unless you go to class and do the course requirements to earn your degree. If you expect to get your driver's license, you might want to take the written course, practice driving, and take the test. It is the same with God. He wants us to come out on top, but we have to start moving.
o How will you partner with God with what He has called you to do?
THE PATH IS LAID OUT FOR YOU
When I was in Heaven, I saw pathways laid out with stones on the paths, and each step was numbered. God was directing your path based on the fact that you kept taking steps. As you took steps, you'd come to a situation where you would have to choose an option, but God already chose it for you. If you'd just trust Him along the way, you'd find that He pulled it off. You ended up right where you were supposed to be. That's what these verses are saying.
o What is it that you're going through right now that you need to trust God and His will for your life?
What I do when I desire to do something is I start doing research and studying it. What can it hurt to start reading about a subject or investigate it and find out if you want to do a particular hobby or you want to learn how to draw? You would get the materials and or take some courses and work towards it. You may find out God didn’t call you to do that, but sometimes it's necessary to find out. You don't have to know the exact job to take because God can use the position you choose to further you into greater things. God will direct your path. Trust Him to lead and guide you today.
o Discuss what God has placed in your heart to do? What are the things you have yet to consider?
o How will you trust God with what He has placed in your heart? How do we know it was Him who said it?
o Take a class or intro course or talk to an instructor to test the waters and see where it takes you. What steps will you take this week in a direction that you are called? Write down a plan.
PRAYER:
Father, thank you for our family all over the world. We just thank you that by the power of the Holy Spirit that you visit your people right now and that you ignite them and show them exactly what it is that you want them to do and that you would give them a way to enter into that. That they would find that first step, Lord, just to start. To have you direct them, and that the steps of a righteous man are ordered and numbered by the Lord. Thank you, Father, in the name of Jesus. Thank you for touching all our friends all over the world. Touch their bodies, touch their minds, touch their hearts right now. The reality of the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name. Amen.
